Administrative Assistant - Apply now!

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist not-for-profit organization with Child Abduction Prevention community-based campaign. Position will entail managing administrative duties and responsibilities as they relate to developing and managing comprehensive child identification and safety education initiatives. Position will also involve telephone reception, light filing, researching grant related web sites, developing/managing community mailing lists, organizing files, sending/reviewing correspondence, creating and distributing press releases and assisting in the administration/coordination of special events. Administrative Assistance will work with various departments to manage/organize paper flow and filing system. The position will serve to assist the organization's directors in meeting correspondence deadlines and managing community calendar for event participation.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall administration of corporate offices. Establishing systems for managing data and contacts. Will assist in administrating sales, public relations and marketing campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have some computer skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office, ACT, possess general office skills, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and help protect children.
Must also have transportation to and from office.

Community Relations Representatives - Apply now!
POSITION SUMMARY: Assist not-for-profit organization with Child Abduction Prevention community outreach programs. Position will entail developing and managing relationships with corporate sponsors, affiliate sales organizations, day care and school representatives, community event directors and participating retailers. Position will involve enrolling and managing contact organizations that share our goals and objective to protect and recover children. The position will serve to assist the organization's directors in their overall sales strategy, including sales planning and forecasting. Ideal candidate will be a team player but a self starter and enjoy being independently accountable for sales activity. Position candidate may earn lucrative commissions based on performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Telemarketing, affiliate and membership enrollment, and event participation.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have "burning desire" to help protect children and enjoy unlimited income potential by enrolling others to sell our products and services. Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are desirable but not necessary. Willingness to learn and become active in the community is essential. Must also have transportation.

Location: Can work at home or our office
Primary Responsibilities
-Assist in the preparation of local, regional and national corporate and government __foundation grant applications
- Analyze and develop strategies and recommendations for solicitation of __prospective donors (foundations, corporate foundations, nongovernmental __organizations, and key individuals) in cooperation with the Board of Directors of __N.A.C.A.P.
- Write, prepare, and submit requests for funding in cooperation with Committee __Chairperson for Outreach Programs and Committee Chairperson for __Funding/Fundraising.
- Recruit and supervise volunteers researchers as required and necessitated by __workload and/or demand
- Responsible for writing grant proposals for local, regional and national corporate __and government funding.

- Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years successful grant writing experience in the nonprofit __arena preferred
- Strong writing and research skills. Ability to analyze and summarize data
- Strong writing skills to include presenting written information in a concise and __persuasive format
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
__Demonstrated general computer proficiency to include word processing, __spreadsheet, and database management skills

Public Relations Manager- Apply now!
POSITION SUMMARY: Assist not-for-profit organization with Child Abduction Prevention community outreach programs and media events. Position will entail developing and managing public relations campaign to promote child safety awareness and release of company's safety products. Position will also involve creating and distributing press releases and assisting in the coordination of special events. Manager will focus on communicating with media sources and organizing a media and public relations internal calendar. The position will serve to assist the organization's directors in meeting public relations and editorial deadlines. Position will concentrate on contacting schools, day care centers, hospitals and corporations to promote child safety awareness and community participation.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Creating and circulating press releases, writing editorial, scheduling and coordinating press events and managing overall public relations campaign. Manager will work with Director of Community Relations to develop special events strategy and cultivate relationships with community leaders.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have previous public relations experience, be familiar with Microsoft Office, possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and help protect children. Must also have transportation to and from office.
